Sheesh, people. After three separate attacks on my blog this year, it’s finally time to put a bullet in the old dogs head. Honestly, what a pain in the arse. A spam attack peddling Vicodin, Xanas, and Oxycontin through the post structure; a redirect attack pushing you crazies to porn hubs in China; and now, a malicious code injector trying to destroy your good work, as well as mine. Close your eyes Rover, time for Daddy to say g’night. Backup you say? Well yes, in retrospect, that would have been wise. Maybe this is what the old girl needed though. A squirt of juice as I come to the end of another two projects, this time with the good people at Bizarre Creations and Eurocom. As the development teams put the finishing touches to ‘James Bond: Blood Stone’ and ‘GoldenEye 007′, giving the blog a little tlc seems somehow apt. What next then? Getting the old content back up and running would be a good start, if I can get the sql database working; I’ve always meant to write a ’50 Cent: Blood on the Sand’ post-mortem; I’d like to put something together about effective level design workflows including hooking into outsourcing; there was that ramble about creative corruption in design I’d been meaning to finish off. Some ideas, anyway. Once we’re done on Bond for the year, from an hotel in North Wales, I’ll get to all of this. In the meantime faithful and few, enjoy the Summer. Summer? Did someone say Summer?
